Welcome to 1640 Apache Avenue! This home has a unique story, and we are excited to share this home with you. Built by my great-grandparents (and lots of supporting family) back in 1961, this remained in our family until 1994 when my great grandmother could no longer live in South Lake Tahoe by herself. Nearly 30 years later, in 2023, our family came together to buy back the original family home! Located in the small community of Meyers, but only minutes from South Lake Tahoe, this location provides the perfect blend of lake vacation with peaceful relaxation and you're just far enough away from all the touristy hustle-bustle!

The lower level of the home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, and laundry area. There is an attached floor plan to help you with the layout. You will enter the home through the garage (really helpful if there is snow). As you enter you'll be greeted by a mudroom that connects to a bedroom, one full bathroom/laundry room, and then opens to the kitchen. The kitchen boasts wood cabinets with soft-close feature, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. The kitchen also opens to the dining area, where a large table with host a feast for up to 10 people! The living room has a reclining couch, television to connect to all of your streaming subscriptions, and of course a stone surrounded gas fireplace to keep you extra toasty when needed. Down the hallway are the other two bedrooms plus the master bedroom with full en-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms feature tile flooring and either a tile or stone surrounded shower/tub combination.

Upstairs you will find lots of space for entertaining! The large open area is home to the family pool table, which has been in the family for over 50 years. There is also a second living space on the carpeted area, and has a bar, TV, and corner couch - perfect for playing games and making memories. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combo with tile surround, while the large bedroom has both a king and full size bed, perfect for large families traveling together.

The large side yard has fencing to provide privacy during your stay. There are two parking spaces in front of the garage, as well as two parking spaces parallel with the road out front of the home.
